I am trying to create a crystal report in c# dotnet environment that
allows the user to drill down.
I have divided the report into groups and made them drillable. So for
example the user can drill down on each part to see its inventory.
Right now in order to drill down they have to pick one of the parts and
expand it. Is there a way to set up the report that will allow the user
expand all the parts with one click? More of a secondary...

I'm using Crystal Reports .NET and VS.NET.
I've created a drill down report which starts off with a pie
chart, followed by a bar chart which is shown when the user
drills down. I'm using the Webviewer to show the report
on an ASP.NET page.
Everything is working fine except for the quality of the pie/bar
chart images that appear on the web page.

Hi,
I saw that a few people in the past have been getting the same error
when a user tries to drill down (to a sub-report) on a crytal report
with ASP.NET (but there was no solution posted):
"Encapsulating page failed"
We are using CR 8.5? Any thoughts or a solution?
Please post!

I am currently exporting a crystal report using code.
This works fine and exports the report to a word document onto disk
using
DiskFileDestinationOptions() and ExportOptions
However when i drill down the report (hence looking at a group), the
export i am doing exports the whole report not the current group view
on the crystalreportviewer.

Hello:
I am trying to use Crystal Reports from VS.NET 2003 to produce a simple line
chart, where the x axis represents the number of measurements taken and the y
axis represents the range of measurement values. There are two sets of points
or measurements, so I would like a line on the chart for each set of values
(two lines).
I can produce the line chart on a VB.NET form correctly using an
Infragistics UltraChart obeject. The data...

Howdy,
Can I compile multiple Crystal Reports into a single PDF? If so, how? I need
this functionality because the second report will be selected by the
user.... Is there a way to select a report in the actual Crystal Report?
Then I can just include it as a subreport....
Thanks

I see a lot of jobs advertized for people knowing Crystal Reports. I
tried to use this platform 6 years ago and found it awkward and
difficult. I find Access, using ODBC, to grab data and build reports to
be an easier solution for me anyway. So what is all the fuss about
Crystal Reports? Why use it, why learn it, why not tell an employer you
have another way of getting him his reports than CR?
Maybe I'm missing something???

I'm currently developing a web application with ASP .NET 1.1.
I'm using the bundled Crystal Reports in Visual Studio 2003 to create
reports for this application.
The system specification requires a Gantt chart inside one of these
reports, and that's the problem: this version of Crystal Reports
doesn't have a Gantt chart option.
I know that VS 2005 ships with Crystal Reports 10 version that supports
Gantt charts. I'm avoiding the...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
