Hi,
I am testing with Visual studio 2005, web projects.
Situation:
I have one solution with two web projects, created as file system projects.
(I am tesing using the built in server, not IIS)
First project is a webService.
Second consumes the webservices by the first.

In all the projects I have upgraded from VS2003 to VS2005, the
AssemblyInfo.vb file appears as a normal source file in the Solution
Explorer (just as it did in VS2003).
In new projects created in VS2005, the AssemblyInfo.vb file is hidden away.
I want to be able to include this file in my normal Solution Explorer file
list.
I can gain access to the file by selecting "Show All Files" and then
expanding the "My Project" node. I can then...

works but often it does not. When it does not work I get the following

Hi All,
Not too long ago, I posted a question about any known issues of a VS2005
application calling a VS2003 web service. We narrowed it down to an issue
with VS2005. If our customer runs their application outside of VS2005, it
works. If he runs it in VS2005, the webservice call will time out. Any
ideas on why this could happen? Runnning the application outside of studio
verifies that the code, URL, and security rights are correct....

I got this "breath taking" task to write a an http server to which "xml
data" will be posted to and will answer with xml data.
The logic behind the xml processing is not a matter here.
My question is : Can i configure a webservice for HHTP POST ?
The remote peer just performs an http web request.
NO RPC style call to my system.

In VS2003, I used to have two solutions - a debug and release solution.
Each solution had a webservice project and several other class library
projects. The webservice project referenced all the other class library
projects (i.e. so that it used the dll created when those other projects
were built).

I create a simple DATAADAPTER in a webservice project. It creates the
UPDATE, INSERT, DELETE commands for me - no problem.
In vS2005 it creates these commands as RESOURCES in the RESX file (i.e.
strings). The problem is whenever I try to test the webservice I get:

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
