Hi there to all.
I am a .NET Crystal newbie and I hope that you don’t pick me up much :) with
the following questions:
1) It’s possible to access the report model to alter the rendered data. I’m
talked about a process like .NET data grid, where we can iterate thru the
rows and change data.
2) I have a report with a linked sub report. The data targets the same data

I am creating a report using the push method, being the data returned by a
typed dataset.
The report shows activities by week and have a subreport with the exactly
same records, but with more information. It looks something like this:

I have built a crystal report using crystal9.0 that is linked to a
stored procedure built in sql2k, which requires 2 parameters
beginningdate(smalldatetime),and endingdate(smalldatetime). When the
parameters are met in crystal the report shows up correctly with no
problems, but when the report is displayed using the crsyatal report
viewer in my c# app, the report is not displayed at all after crystal
prompts for the parameters. The viewer...

i have one table that i use for the details section of a crystal report, and
a linked table that should also be used in the details. the problem is i
cannot join them because the linked table has multiple entries and i choose
the corresponding one based on the current datetime (another column in the
linked table), and i select the top 1 row based on another column.
so, when i want to use the corresponding value from the linked table, the...

I have written an ASP/VB.Net application via VS 2003 (Crystal V9) that
uses MS Access 2000 as its database. I can export reports that have no
linked sub reports for printing. However, I'm unable to export reports
that have linked subreports. I receive (a "Missing parameter field
current value") on the following statement:
Me.crReportDocument.Export()
The main report requires 4 parameters. The linked reports do not
require any...

Hello All,
I'm nearing the end of my current project and the users came up with 2 more requests. I'll talk about the first one in this message.
I've developed (with much help from this group) a vb.net app and is being put into the users hands this week. I am using Crystal Report X to
produce reports. The users now, rather than printing, want them emailed and produced in .pdf format also. So rather than me re-inventing
the wheel, I'm...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
