Hi,
I have a strange problem. I want to install Plone
(Plone2-2.0.0rh-2.i386.rpm) Because Plone 2.0 needs Python 2.3.3, I
installed Python 2.3.3 from source (Python-2.3.3.tar).
Everything went well. After installing Python I did a reboot of the server
and checked if Python works.

I have an app that calls an https based web service. The server does
not and cannot use one of the normal CA roots (Thawte, Verisign etc.)
Is there a way to install the root cert programatically? I would
presume some sort of message will be kicked up, but that's better than
making the user do it manually.

with no numpy for debian/testing, I am left alone, since the
experimental version available by debian will result in a dependency
nightmares,
so after unpacking the downloaded file "numpy-0.9.6.tar.gz"

Does anyone have an example setup of a XML-RPC sever using client side
certs for authentication?
And instead of having a list of certs allowed to connect, I'd like to
allow any cert signed by my CA.
It doesn't seem like it would be to hard to do and I'll probably spend
some time setting it up here soon, but would be interested if anyone
else has already written a solution like this or has used one (in
python of course).

Im working in red hat linux 9.0. I've downloaded the pygame package
but there is some problem while installing it. For the tar version, initial steps execute OK, namely,
# tar xzvf pygame-1.7.1release.tar.gz
# cd pygame-1.7.1release
but after this:
# ./configure
bash: ./configure: No such file or directory

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
