Hi all,
This may be a stupid question here, but I need to be able to convert a SVG
document into any kind of raster format (PNG, JPG, BMP, GIF, whatever). The
catch is that, tho I have a good converter for Java, this would need to be a
non-Java tool. I'm not tool particluar if it is a toolkit or a command line
executable or what, but it must be automatable (i.e. callable from code). I
have looked and looked for one, am I missing...

Jargons of Info Tech industry
(A Love of Jargons)
Xah Lee, 2002 Feb
People in the computing field like to spur the use of spurious jargons.
The less educated they are, the more they like extraneous jargons, such
as in the Unix & Perl community. Unlike mathematicians, where in
mathematics there are no fewer jargons but each and every one are

just read about a person who did work in C# then decided to switch to
java (because he wanted to run his apps in multiple platforms, inc
linux). he mentioned that someone should market a c# to Java converter.
is there any such thing today?
there is almost surely no market for it right now (since there are not
that many mature c# projects around yet), but it might be something to
look at in the medium term future when movements from c#...

is there a c# -> c++ code converter out there ?
Hi people,
I was just wondering if there is a C# to C++ converter out there. I have
some working c# code and need to integrate it into a non-managed c++
program. The classes used are all user defined and use simple floats ints
etc, so its just a matter of converting syntax and adding proper pointers. A
converter program would therefore save me a lot of time ...

Hi,
My company wants to migrate all our apps from vb.net to c#.
Can someone recommend a good migrate/convert tool?
I am hoping that such a tool can do a 90-95% work for me, and I will do the rest :)
I am using VS 2005.
thanks

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
