Hi,
I haveto use VB to create a form that reads an exisiting XML fileand then allows updates via the VB form.
My problem is that I was able to get VB to read a simple XML file(people.XML), but I'm having problems figuring out how to get VBto read a more complex XML file (people2.xml) and then useadditional text boxes on the same form to add more familymembers. Each family can have from 1 to 5 members.

Hi,
I have a form that is designed as a data sheet view. Attached to this
is a subform with some VB code. When the user clicks on a row, the
subform should pop up and run the VB code which accesses the record
corresponding to the row clicked.
To get this row, I tried using Me.Parent.Bookmark. Unfortunately,
this gets the "Current Record" which is set via the navigation

Hi,
I have a form that when opened in the designer appears of the screen. The
form selector can't be dragged (or resized) and if I scroll right and down
to centralise it the form simply jumps further away, completely leaving the
selector box area.
Any ideas? VS 2003 and VB.Net

My question may be trivial, but I was wondering if
someone could tell me how to get a form I have created to
load. Say I had a program and a button on there for a
Help file to open. Well how do I get it to load the form
when I click the button. I tried Load frmHelp but it tell
me thatfrmHelp is a type and can't be used as an
expression.
And another thing, what does Sub Main not found in
Name.Form1 mean?

I have a asp.net 1.1/vb application that has a page with a bunch of
dynamically added User Controls.
When I add the controls, I set the UserControl.EnableViewState to true.
For all my controls with TextBoxes, I can get the value back out of the
controls just fine.
One of my User Controls has some DropDownLists as well as a TextBox.
I get a value from the TextBox on postback, but not the DropDownLists.

arrises when I do a post back on one of these user controls. I have
button it does a click event. In this click event I will do some
database updates, then I will use reflection to call a method in the
