Hi,
I have a WebService client. All the code is generated by VS.NET 2003.
The problem is that some attributes are not generated.
All the attributes in the base class are generated.
But the attribute in the inherited class RFCSending are not.
Is it not possible to use this class structure for a SOAP header?

I'm working on a project needs to create a soap header like this:

<MessageID>
uuid:6B29FC40-CA47-1067-B31D-00DD010662DA
</:MessageID>
<To>http://abc.example</To>
<Action>http://abc.example/SubmitPO</Action>
</SOAP-ENV:Header>

I wish to change/set the namespace for a header in my web service. I have
found the following code and it does not appear to work and my assumption is
because I am using RPC encoding...
public class Service1 : System.Web.Services.WebService
{
// ...

I'm not sure what my problem is so I thought I'd post here to see if anyone
can shed some light onto my problem.
1) I have a SoapHeader descendant called AuthenticateUserHeader that has
UserName and Password properties.
2) I have a BaseWebService class that has a member like so....
public AuthenticateUserHeader UserAuthentication;

I've written a complex web service in C# to be used by SmartDevices and I'm
trying to reduce size of the message to the absolute minimum to save on cost,
every byte counts etc.
Is there any way to custom format the SoapHeader by Attributes in the Web
service or SoapHeader class?
For simplicity look at the example below...
public DeviceAuthenticationHeader DeviceHeader;

I have a problem accessing my custom SoapHeader from a SoapExtension. My
extension has no compile time reference to the class derived from
SoapHeader, so how can cast it into a SoapHeader of the correct type?
Thanks,
Andy

I am trying to build a consumer to a webservice which use soapheader. I am
using Visual Studio 2003. Please see the wsdl-file below. Why is it that the
SOAPHEADER is empty when I use it int the header instead of as part of the
input message? Is there a limitation of VS2003?
Please any ideas are appreciated?!
TIA
Fred

Given the following Web Service method definition:
public DataTable GetData()
{
...
}
If GetData throws an exception, obviously the functional return is toast.

Hi everyone,
We have a web method that accepts a type of AuthHeader containing
credentials for validating WS calls, which is shown below:
public class AuthHeader : SoapHeader
{
public string userName;
public string password;
}

You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
