I have been looking into AOP (Aspect-Oriented Programming) for
sometime, now. I frankly don't like the syntax of any of the
approaches I have seen so far. I am kind playing around with some
ideas, and maybe write up an article later.
AOP is not just buzzword. It's not just callback, it's not just Ruby's
MixIn, it's not just Python's metaclass, it's not just C++'s template.

Is this a good idea? I would like to know when some of my objects
have changed. Would it a) be a good idea to write this as an aspect
rather than cluttering classes. b) what would be the best way to
write it? My plan is to add a boolean and method for hasChanged and
set this boolean based on the value of the the input to the setter
methods compaired with the current value of the coresponding getter
method.

Hi,
I heard alot of IoC containers and aspect oriented programming for the Java
/ J2EE world, eg, Spring, AspectJ, Pico, etc.
I find the idea very compeeling that the framework calls the obejct instead
of the objects call some kind of static factory. More over the aspect
oriented way eg. to do logging also seems quite interesting. Is these things
possible in .net? Are there any interesting and production ready solutions
out there?

I am searching for a language to work with aspect oriented programming on
the .NET platform with Csharp. Also, I would like that the language can be
integrated on Visual Studio 2008. I've tried ASPECT.NET but it only works on
Windows XP and I prefer Windows Vista.
