I have an interesting problem. I am performing an XSL
transform using the System.Xml.Xsl.Transform class.
I have a database that contains the XSL style sheet
string. And it seems to work pretty well for simple
transforms. But as soon as I add Xsl variables or For each
loops to the XSL string in the db, it fails to transform
the XML. I can see that it will transform everything until
that point. ALso If I copy the XSL & XML I am trying to...

This has to be a FAQ, but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere!
I have an application that consumes a web service that returns me a string
full of XML. I also have an XSLT for outputting the XML.
I need to take that string, apply the XSLT to it, and get the output into a
string suitable for writing out to a tcp port.
Essentially, an XML string, transformed into another string.

I have the following section of VB.NET code that transforms a simple dataset
into an Excel xml workbook. It works fine for < 50 rows or so, but I have
about 8,000 rows I need to transform. Is there a better way than what I am
doing. This is part of an ASP.NET applicaiton.

I'm using an ASP.NET form to display data from my database table, and
I'm doing it in the following way:
XmlDataDocument doc = new XmlDataDocument(mydataSet);
XPathNavigator nav = doc.CreateNavigator();
XslTransform xslTran = new XslTransform();
xslTran.Load("Transform.XSL");
xslTran.Transform(nav, null, Response.Output, null);
This produces me a nice HTML page with enhanced formatting specified
