I get a linking error when building an openGl program under Visual C++ 6.
I've set the entry point symbol to wWinMainCRTStar tup as per the solution
posted but still no luck

The error message i get is posted below.

LIBCD.lib(wwinc rt0.obj) : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol
_wWinMain@16
Debug/newestgl.exe : fatal error LNK1120: 1 unresolved externals
Error executing link.exe.

any help would be great!

Can anyone tell me how to resolve this? Funny thing is, someone showed me how to resolve this like a year ago and it was pretty simple, but I've...

We have a DLL built using VS.net 2003 (written in C++) that uses the .net object DateTime. The DLL exports several functions that we wrote to do date and time offsets (AddYears, AddMonths, etc). Calling this DLL from an exe written in C: 1) The C language app compiled under VC 6.0 and linking to said DLL will run correctly when run on local hard drive if no changes to .net security policies. Changing the security policy for the network...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers.
