Hi, I'm not sure if we are able to or even how to loop through the web forms in a VB.NET project during design time. In MSAccess we are able to go through the database -> forms collection and loop through all the forms in a database and pull information about the form (controls and properties). We would need to do the same in our VB.NET project; loop through the project and get the web form's control and property information...

Please, help. Is there any way to take advantage of re-ordering columns in ListView control programmatically when AllowColumnReorder is set to true? I have a ListView with 3 columns, LabelEdit is set to true. That allows user to edit 0th column. I want the user to be able to edit the 1st (or the middle) column. I figured my item (0th) column should be somehow switched

Hi, I try to write a Web Custom Control. But I have a little problem for refreshing the properties view of my Web Control in Visual Studio (). It is refreshed and text property contains the good value. Therefore how I refresh...

Hi, I have a datagrid, and in different rows I need to programmatically bind different type of controls and load data into these controls. For example,in the first row I need to bind data into a textbox, and in the second row I need to bind data into a dropdownlist...It all depends on the data I select from the database. I cannot use TemplateColumn because it has to be the same type of control for one column.

How do I programmatically change the text property of a label in an ItemTemplate in a datagrid? Specifically the Text property. I want to change the databinding to another column at runtime. <asp:TemplateColumn HeaderText="Rate1"> <ItemTemplate> <asp:Label runat="server" Text='<%# fRate(DataBinder.Eval(Container, "DataItem.RateAgentID")) %>' ID="Label3" NAME="Label3"> </asp:Label>

I've defined an ObjectDataSource against a dataset, and I can bind the ObjectDataSource's members to data controls. I'm wondering how to take the values in an ObjectDataSource and programmatically manipulate them before they're bound to any data control. I'd be using them almost like you'd use recordset fields from Classic ADO. In other words, I would like to grab the value corresponding to a publication date from my database, use the...

As you can tell, I am new to VS.net. I have a VB project with a defined data source pointing to a table in a ..mdb file.-- The associated fields are displayed in textboxes using the tableBindingSource. There is also an associated BindingNavigator. The table's primary key is a field called 'who'. I have a valid value for 'who' and want to set the Navigator to the record that contains this value so the fields are displayed in the associated...

Hi How do I programmatically change (read/write) the values in this app.config file at runtime? Specifically I want to change the client endpoint address but it would be nice to change other values too. I thought this is what ServiceHost is for but is seems way more complicated to use for what I'm trying to do. <system.serviceModel> <bindings>

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
