I am using the following code instead of a very lengthly select case
statement.
(I have a lot of lookup tables in a settings form that are selected
from a ListBox. The data adapters are given a similar name to the
table. Rather than making a long Select Case that could become
obsolete if lookup tables are added and the source table of the
ListBox is edited I came up with this code.)

I came acrosss g++ compile errors whenever I make a function call by
reference and found out from the test program that compiler is
treating the function argument differently when another function call
funcRet()is made which returns the expected argument type for the
function call by reference funcByRef(class A&);
The only way to get around this probelm is to first call the
funcRet(), assign its value to a variable and pass that...

Hello,

following errors. Rebuilding the application never helps. However the

Is there a listing of what the compile errors mean? For example:
"hdb_log.c", line 163.22: 1506-046 (S) Syntax error.
"hdb_log.c", line 160.20: 1506-098 (E) Missing argument(s).
make: 1254-004 The error code from the last command is 1.
How do I find out what 1506-046 and 1506-098 mean?

I used WebLogic and the ANT command to create a JAR file with the details of the application server. That side of things seemed to work correctly and when I list the jar file I see:
