adding a class Wizard in .Net

Ye
I have a problem adding a class Wizard in .Net after I add a dialoge in the class.

As somebody suggested, I tried to add stdafx.h as a member of the project (using add existing item) and then try to add the class, and still did not work.

Anybody have an idea?

Thanks in advance.

I'm working through C++4 in 21 days since I already have the book & the software! Although other controls do, radio buttons dont appear in the member variables section of the class wizard. Is it something I'm doing? Im in the UK, and had to set Windows regional settings to USA for the class wizard to work. (& that'll probably affect my usenet time settings)

I've been working thru some MFC sample projects in hopes of converting myself from an old C programmer to a (still old) C++ Windows programmer :-). I am using VS 6.0 with SP5 on an XP Home system. What has happened twice now is that I use Class Wizard to add, for example, a new message handler function to an existing class. When I click OK, I get a rather long error message about the wizard being unable to "Rename <long temp file path>...

Since we upgraded from VC6 to VC7, we have the following problem: In some projects of ours, all resources (except the program icon) are moved to a separate resource-only DLL, for translation purposes. Now the VC7 class wizard seems not to like this; whenever I am in the resource editor (e.g. a dialog resource) and want, for example, to add a message handler to a button by double-clicking on the item, the invoked class-wizard insists on...

In VC 6.0 I could easily add a function to handle a system message e.g. WM_TIMER. But it seems that is not possible in .NET or? Any ideas on how to do it without manually add the code? BR /// Rob

After converting VC 6 workspace to a solution the class wizard does not work. When adding a new dialog the wizard takes all the information but does not create the cpp & h file. Does anyone know how to fix this? Kurt

I just installed Visual Studio 2005, created a C# class library project, and went to use the Add Class wizard. I can't seem to find anything that would classify as a wizrd (no way to specify inheritance, visibility, namespace....) The online help refers to a wizard but all I get to specify is a name. Seem that the "wizard" is missing... what am I missing? "The Class Options tab serves as the first page of the Class Wizard..." I don't...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
