Including a library to project setting of VC++ as defualt

I have installed a driver for a trainer kit. Is there any
way that I can include the library that I am using as a
defualt library. That way I don't have to include the
library to a new project setting each time.
Thanks,
Faramarz

I have a static library that is compiled using the latest version of VC 6. It uses the multithreaded DLL versions of the run-time library, and it uses STL classes. I would like to make use of this static library in a VS .NET 2003 managed C++ project. Currently, I am just linking the compiled .lib file into my VC 7 project. (This is the simplest approach, as it is not practical to move the static library project to VC 7 at this time.) My VC...

All, I'm having a problem building a library (VMime) with Visual .NET 2003. It's including, among others, gnutls.h from the GNU TLS library and I'm getting syntax errors in that file. For example this line: typedef ssize_t (*gnutls_pull_func) (gnutls_transport_ptr_t, void *, size_t);

I am workin on a 2 part project right now. The first part is a DLL, the second part a normal exe using that DLL. When I use the VS2005 standard setting for compiling with the Multithreaded-DLL runtime library (compiler option /MD )everything works fine on my PC. But when I try to run the thing on a friends PC or my laptop I get: "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect.

Hello, I am using Visual Studio-2003. I created a project to build my library. Since I am using third party libraries as well, I have specified those additional library dependencies in project as "Additional Dependencies" under Linker-Input options. Since those libraries are also in different directory, I specified that library path in project as "Additional Library Directories" under Linker-General options. This is where I see some...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
