Hi,
I'm using C# with Visual Studio .NET 2003.
In my project, I have a class library with some custom windows forms controls.
The namespace for these controls is "WinMar.GUI".
If I try to use them in another project in a form in the "WinMar.Client"
namespace, the Forms Designer will generate a erroneous declarations in the
form. It will add the member with the full type and namespace, and it will fail
to compile with the error:

I just installed VS 2005 Beta 2 and imported a project I was working on.
Basically, I am just in the stage where I'm laying out the form and the
controls, etc. and designing the over-all look. This is not a big project...
basically a form with some tabs and each tab contains several sub-controls
(panels, splitters, more smaller tab controls, etc.). Lots of anchoring and
docking, etc., the usual drill.
So, every time I rebuild my...

I've created a page ancestry (framework) for our application so that all
pages in our app would have the same look and feel. To do this, I created
several user controls (header, footer, menu, etc.) and then a C# class which
inherits from System.Web.UI.Page. In the OnInit() method of this class, I
dynamically load these user controls using the 'this.Controls.AddAt()'
method (as well as call the base.OnInit() method to load the objects from...

I'm having some problem with my Visual Studio.NET 2003 (.NET 1.1 SP1)
install. I am unable to use the web forms designer with any aspx file
whose
form class inherits from a base class. I'm implementing the page
controller
design pattern and everything has been working fine until now. My form
inherits from a base class called CampusNET.CampusPage. The class
exists, is
included in the project and compiles just fine. If I replace the base...

Hi everyone,
I would like to create a base class which inherits from

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
