hi everyone
i am having a bad time with an entity resolver. my application uses a
resolver to locally-cache the nested schemas that the basic xsd
includes to a local directory. however i am getting an exception when
the parser tries to parse one of the included xsds which it has
downloaded, because (as far as i can tell from the stack trace) it is
trying but failing to handle other included xsds. the exception is

Hi,
I can't for the life of me get this to work properly. I've searched for
examples, but none of the examples quite match my environment. Here is my
XML (please treat this as immutable -- no solutions involving altering the
XML are good for me):
---- config.xml ----

hello,
i have seen multiple postings on the subject but no answer that
addresses my question:
I create a dataset using a xsd schema. the schema specifies a relation
from one of the tables to the other table via a primary-secondary key
on the tables.
i load the data into the dataset.

I'm getting improperly nested xml when a column contains null.
I modified the first row (customer ALFKI) to have a NULL Address
column.
I'm using the following XSD Annotated Schema against the NorthWind
database:
<xs:schema xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
xmlns:sql="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:mapping-schema">
<xs:element name="customer" sql:relation="Customers"

I need to group some attribute for use in different types, but if I
nest an attributegroup inside another one I miss the nested attribute
in class generated with xsd.exe.
For example if I use the following two schemas xsd.exe give me the same
class.
First Schema:
<xsd:schema xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
xmlns="http://example.org/"

I have a dataset setup with a main table that has some information in it
along with an element that is a nested table so that I can store rows of
history information for that one row in the main table. This all works
fine in a datagrid I can add rows to the nested table of any of my
customer rows... However in code I can't figure out how to do the same
thing... the only function I can find is "GetHistoryRows"... I'm
completely lost here -...

Hi,
Newbie question #2 - hope that's OK!
I'm trying to create a WSDL file using one or more XSD schema files. While
WSDL.exe doesn't seem to support the XSD "import" function, if I include a
single huge XSD schema file on the command line input to WSDL.exe, I can
essentially achieve the desired result. (So, first question: is it true that
WSDL.exe does not support *any* kind of <wsdl:import ...> or <xsd:import...>
function?)

Hi,
I have a problem with nested namespace in a schema.
I defined a schema A.
A is importing a schema B with the namespace nsB and a schema C with
the namespace nsC.
But both B and C are importing a schema D with a namespace D.
I have a validation error because some elements are defined twice.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...
