I like PHP for its excellent inline integration into standard HTML files,
but I like Perl for its quick-moving syntax and simpler data-processing. To
resolve this deep-seated inner turmoil (oh, the drama) I've been trying to
think of good ways to get Perl code to run inline in a PHP script. Here are
a few of my ideas. If anyone has any further...

I am starting a new thread so we can avoid some of the non-productive
argument following my earlier post "What is good about Prothon". At
Mr. Hahn's request, I will avoid using the name "Prothon" in the
subject of any post to this newsgroup. Please ignore the old thread.
I've also updated my webpage http://ece.arizona.edu/~edatools/Python...

Hello everyone
I'm looking for seminar topics (and project ideas too) for my final
year in Computer Engineering. I'm considering doing something on
C++/Linux, considering that I love it so much -- I'm still learning it
though.
The topic could be anything computer-related at all, anything new and
interesting perhaps :) Perhaps a research...

Hello, I know this isn't really a python centric question, but I'm seeking
help from my fellow python programmers. I've been learning python for the
past year and a half, and I still haven't written anything substantial nor
have I found an existing project which blows my hair back. Python is my
first language, and I plan on learning lisp...

Hi there :)
I don't know how else to call what I'm currently implementing: An object
that behaves like a list but doesn't store it's own items but rather
pulls them from a larger list (if they match a certain criterion).
Changes to the filter are instantly reflected in the underlying list.
Clear enough?
Ok, so I figured that this is...

At Guido's suggestion, a new mailing list has been created named
Python-Ideas (http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/python-ideas).
This list is meant as a place for speculative, pie-in-the-sky language
design ideas to be discussed and honed to the point of practically
being a PEP before being presented to python-dev or python-3000. This...

Sorry for all the cross posting but I'm interesting in getting a serious
discussion about how usenet has become lately.
Many people are moving away from usenet because of all the spam and cooks
that have been showing up. The rate of spammer seem to be growing
exponentially(ok, not really but it feels like it).
I think maybe its time to do...

I have been programming in python for some time but I have become
short of ideas. A software exhibition is coming up, and I plan to show
python's worth 'cos it is quite underrated in this part of the world.
Could anyone suggest any really good program ideas and information on
how to implement them? I heartily welcome any good ideas.

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
