MS Access --> MS Streets & Trips

I don't know VB yet, but before I start learning it I would like to find out
is it going to be able to do one project with it. I have database of
customers in MS Access. All of them I put on map (MS Streets & Trips) as
pushpins. They are on diferent map files in diferent pushpin sets and in
specific sequence. Sometimes when I need to make change I have to go through
6 map files. Does anybody know how to write a program which would access
database and would put all the customers on the map files. So anytime I
change information on data base I would be able to refresh information on
maps.

I think you might wanna look at Mappoint 2K4 webservice since Mappoint
has developer APIs freely available and an activex control you can use
in VB.NET. I dont think S&T has the developer front.

I have the program on CD which came with another PC but it died. I bought a new PC running WinXP Home. The streets and trips CD will not install, it won't launch, it doesn't do anything. Any idea why I can't get it to install and run? I own it, and want to use it.

I have a layer (ALL_CenterlinesICW_polyline layer) that contains all of the address range and full street names for our county. I have a separate layer (CAD_GridsICW_region layer) that has the grid system we use (see screen shot of example attached). And I have a 3rd layer ALL_RuncardsICW_region layer that breaks up the fire areas for the different fire departments. What I need to do (this is my first work with ArcMapping, so I'm very...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
