Hello,
I have been learning vb.net 2003 and am tring to
install an application called Peedys Pizza place, which
requires a download of peedy.exe (Animated char files).
I downloaded the char file and when I try and run the
app, it tells me that file is not in the /char
directory. Where is this refering to ? I do not see any
directory called "Char". I also get error saying that I
do not have text to speech or speech to text installed.

About two weeks ago I had an accident and have broken my left elbow and left
wrist. For doing things like Word or e-mail (I use Outlook for) I have been
using Microsoft's speech recognition and that has been working fine.
However as a professional programmer I need to be able to type. Right now I
can't do that (until my arm heals). I've heard of a program by ScanSoft
called Dragon NaturallySpeaking Professional. I called ScanSoft and...

Some of the users who are accessing this voice-enabled web application doesn't have a speech plug-in installed in their machine, somehow I have to identify whether the speech plug-in is installed in their system or not by using Javascript and...

During speech recognition i.e. when the Listen element starts(user sees the audio meter on the UI)
the speech recognition engine interprets even noise also and the application reacts to this noise. Is ther
any possiblity of avoiding interpretion of noise by speech recognition engine so that the application doesn't
react...

Now that it finally works, I'm in the process of converting my large
rapid-prototyped Access app into production VB, one DDE-linked piece at
a time. One piece now already in VB takes ~2 seconds to run all by
itself, but when I start running other gigantic resource hogs like
Dragon NaturallySpeaking and SAPI at the same time, its execution time
goes WAY up - past the 5 seconds needed to time out a DDE link, so I get
an Error 286 DDE...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
