To create Excel file, you can Add Reference Visual Studio.NET, browse to ...
and then select Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel, etc. It endsup some
reference to GUID in project file. You can then import namespace and create
Excel file etc.
Is it possible to do this in one aspx page without using VS project and code
behind? Thanks

hi,
I am generating excel reports through vb.Net. After creating
excel.application and the report is generated, each report leaves Excel in
memory. I can see them in task manager in Process tab (as EXCEL). So the
memory has been taken by excel objects and memory is being full. i want to
delete or kill this objects which are in memory. i wrote the code as
'myexcel.quit()' , myexcel=nothing. but still it is in memory.
pls tell me how to...

I was able to get procedure to work in a VB.Net Windows application, and want
to get it to work within a ASP.Net page. It won't create the instance of
Excel. It blows up on the CreateObject class.
What am I missing?

the browser as attachment. Normally, once the document is transferred the
open save dialog prompts to open or save the excel document. When I click
