Waveform/oscilliscope charting package ?

I want to develop an application that has an oscilliscope . I was wondering
if anyone has experience (good or bad) of any commercial charting packages
that will provide this sort of functionality.

Thanks,
B

I think Microsoft recommend Dundas software's DundasChart (www.dundas.com).
I've work with it a bit and it works quite well, obviously depending on what
you do. I've been working with the web-based charts, but they also have
Windows Forms charting components. They say the can do real-time charting,
which might be what you need.

Jako,
Thanks for the feedback. I have looked this over and the real-time chart
seems to be a guage display. I shall continue to look.

Thanks,
B

You might try:
http://www.mooseworkssoftware.com/graph.htm. It began as a Compact Framework
control, but now also has a Windows Form version.

Dear Pythonists; I would appreciate a recommendation of a open source package for charting numeric data such as stock market quotes etc. Have such a thing in PHP called JPGraph which is very nice. Equivalent system in Python is desired. Needn't be very complex as long as the basic charting types (lines, points, bars etc) are supported.

I've been testing ChartFX but the performance doesn't seem to be too good. I have used ProEssentials but it seems to be lacking some of what we need. Any recommendations? We're primarily using a scatter plots. Thanks, Joe

Is any one charting packing considered to be the "best"? We've used ChartFX but wasn't too happy about the way data had to be populated along with some other issues which slip my mind right now and Dundas has bugs and doesn't do a good enough job displaying axis labels and is very slow to paint large numbers of series and data points. We're currently evaluating ProEssentials which we are happy with but it's not a native .NET package. ...

We are a bunch of folks at a start-up building a financial application using C#. The application will be mostly dealing with stock volumes, quotes etc. For the same, we would require a charting package allowing us to build line charts, candlesticks, open-high-low charts etc. As our resources are pretty constrained at the moment, we would like to start with a free package that offers us more flexibility than the built-in charting API. Looking...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
