Hi,
I am writing an app which reads a SQL Server schema,
configures a dataset with that information and finally
writes the xsd schema to a file.
The problem is that the resulting xsd file does not have
the "UpdateRule" value, so when I build a new Dataset from
that file this value is lost.

I have a Table in a Typed Dataset which contains a Date field called
EventDate.
I've ensured that the field is defined as Date as opposed to DateTime in the
Typed Dataset.
When I generate an xml file from an instance of this typed dataset using the
ds.WriteXml method, all the dates come out formatted as follows:

I get a security error when trying to write out to an XMLSchema file
"myDs.WriteXmlSchema(strXMLSchemaFile)". I am running XP SP2, No Domain, MS

well as others) to no avail. I also had to install ...

Using Access2003 and XP:
In a continuous form using only a Form Header and Detail section, the
following occurs:
Three of the many textboxes in the Form Header lose visibility of their
data when the cursor moves to the Detail section. The data still exists
but it disappears.
This does not occur on the first record of this continuous form's...

I've created a demo program that draws random lines on the form. At the end,
a messagebox pops up with the words"I'm done!". When I click on "OK", the
messagebox disappears, but a white square is left in its place. I can still
see the randomly drawn lines on the form, but some are covered up by the
white square. How do I prevent the white...

In my app I've created a label report (Avery 7162, 2 colums, 8 rows) with
the wizzard. The report is based on a temp table that is created when the
user pushes a button. After creation of the table the pushbutton opens the
report.
Now something weird happens. When I open the report manually a few or more
times it remains intact. However,...

Hi all,
I'm having a baffling problem with a windows service that I'm working on.
Basically, I am using a typed dataset to insert a large number of rows
into an SQL Server 2005 database. But there's a memory leak that seems
to be to do with calling the data adapters update method. It's making
the memory usage go through the roof and...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
