If you're listening, I want the middle of the calendar (showing 1 month) to
open below the cursor position. It currently opens just to the right and
below the cursor position.
I hunted through the code, but can't determine what to alter.
Very nice piece of work, by the way.
Thanks

I would like recommendations for implementing a calendar in an ASP.NET web
site. My plan is to store date and event information (e.g,, "Spring Sale")
in a database, and when the page is requested, load the calendar. Users
would ideally view an entire month, and a short description of an event
within a specific date. More than one event will be listed for some dates,
with a brief description displayed in the calendar. I'd like to enable...

First, let me start by saying my asp.net experience is still in it's
infancy so please bare with me as I try to explain my situation.
I have created a single page that with the use of many controls (i.e.
roundedcorners component www.4guysfromrolla.com], buttons and
panels) functions like a tab control. The buttons are programmatically
designed to make the corresponding panel visible.
Sample aspx.vb code:

Does anyone have an example of how you would do a popup window when a user clicks on a day number link in the ASP.NET Web Calendar control?
I am trying to create an event calendar similar to how Outlook works. When user clicks on the day number in the calendar control I want to display a popup window and let user add data and click on the Save button. The code under the save button will save the data to the database and close the popup...

Hi,
I tried to search web for an non-popup calendar control, (like
javascript calendar) but could not find a good solution. Most solutions
are popup another window and show the calendar, then close and assign
the date back to the main window when user selected a date. Also find
some examples using div show/hide but could not maintain its state when
user navigate to next month.
Does anyone have a hyperlink to a good example? Does...

How can I stop my Calendar control from firing the form validation
events?
I have a form containing several controls which have several
validation controls each.
One control is a TextBox where the date is entered. Connected to this
is an image button which launches a popup window containing a calendar
control. The selected value from the calendar is then fed back to the
TextBox.

Hi all,
I am trying to use a calendar server control which I have ID="Calendar1" in
the source code. What I am trying to do is emulate a JavaScript calendar
that was being used in an older ASP version of the application. The
javascript version worked nicely -- you click on a calendar.gif in an anchor
next to a textbox. The calender would pop up in a new window, you select the
date, the calendar window would close and the textbox would be...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
