Does someone have or know of an algorythm (method) that will delete all
files under a give directory and its subdirectories based on a wildcard
mask?
I can use this for one directory
for each file in Directory.GetFiles("pic1.*")
file.Delete()
but will need to use a recursive algorythm to get all its subdirectories

I'm trying to use a System.Security.Criptography function, it works on
my machine but when I publish the site, it gives me the following error:
Can't find a cryptographic service provider (CSP) in this algorythm...
Any Idea of what's wrong???

In VB 6, the Form_QueryUnload event had an UnloadMode parameter that let me
find out *why* a form is unloading, and then conditionally cancel the event.
In VB.NET, the Closing event passes a CancelEventArgs that lets me cancel
the Close() operation, but is there still any way to find out *why* a form
is closing?
This app as a form that needs to be loaded at startup, closed only at

I am still working on this homework assignment and have hit a wall.
I have a list that I want to fill with all occurences of img tags from a
big string of html code. So I have a string called str which holds the
html code and I want to find the string str1 which would be <img and
then write to the list an item that contains all the chars from <img
through the > that closes the img tag.

Hi everybody!
I have such a problem. I wrote a web portal on C++, but I found one big "-" in that script: C++ is not supporting url decoding(I mean data sent by HMTL forms).
As a developer I can solve this problem in many ways, but the easier would be, if I understand how to convert ASCII Hex (%D3 for example) to a symbol it represents.
As I guess, there must be a certain algorythm how it was encoded, and the same how it may be decoded....

One part of my program is to compare two strings and as a result I have to have a number (range:0-1) which represents a similarity between those two strings.
I don't need a solution in C++, I just need a hint which algorythm to use to implement this concept.
I searched Web, but there is a million of algorythms and I don't know which to use.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
