Hi all
Could someone please tell me how to configure and deploy my Crystal reports?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I want to be able to deploy my
reports/web pages to another domain, web server, database and have the
report connect via integrated security.
1. I have created a stored proc in my SQL Server db, created a report in my
ASP.NET project, created a reports.aspx and placed a CrystalReportViewer on
the page. This is...

I have a webhoster that lets me ftp into my web site. I'm putting up an
aspx app that uses crystal reports. I've read all about how to make a
deployment project with all of the Crystal .msm files and such. But, this
makes a setup.exe. My webhoster is not going to run some setup.exe on his
server.
Is there any way of just putting the .msm files into the right place with
ftp?
Thanks,

Hi everyone,
I recently wrote a vb.net app which includes some crystal reports.
The user has very little money in their budget and have been without a
working application for quite a while. This being the case I worked
with what was available: I used vb.net and crystal 8.5. The crystal
reports are being viewed in the crystal report viewer which is still
included in vb.net. I went ahead with developing this project because
I found that...

I have developed a ASP.NET application that contains several reports
that were developed with Crystal Report XI.
My development machine is Windows XP SP2. Everything works fine, but
when I deploy the application to my web server which is running Windows
2003 SP1, the reports do not work. I get no errors when I click the
link to the page that has the CrystalReportViewer control, but I also
get no report. I have tried deploying the...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
