Adam Nathan's book ".NET and COM - The Complete Interoperabilit y Guide" does
a very complete job of discussing interop between COM and .NET.
However I'm not sure if I would categorize it as a "newbie" book.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
