Here's a tricky SQL question that has definitely driven me to the end of
my rope. I'm using Oracle 9i and I need to perform some simple
multiplication on a field and then display it with a percent sign using
the COLUMN command. Here's the code thus far:
COLUMN price format 9,999.99 HEADING 'Charged%'
SELECT pricecharged * .231 as price
FROM VT_examdetail
The output from this reads:

I have a two-column layout, with a background image in the left panel. If
the content of the right column is longer than the left, I would like to
have the background image repeat all the way down. Is there a way to do
this? Here's a screenshot of what I have:

Hello,
I have a datagrid and one column shows a lot of information. The text in
that column is automatically cut of sometimes and I don't want that to
happen. I would like to know if it is possible to increase the number of
characters that can be displayed in a template column.
Greetings,
Christian.

How do you get an accurate count of the number of records returned from
a query when using linked tables.
I have an access 2003 database as a front end to another access 2003
database that contains only tables. I have linked the tables for the
front end to the back end database.
I am trying to set the recordsource of a form to a query established by
the user to narrow the scope but I don't want to display the form if
there are no...

Hello.
Is there a method for computing the number of digits, in a given numeric
base, of N factorial, without actually computing the factorial?
For example, 8! has 5 digits in base 10; 10! has 7 digits in base 10.
Is there a way to compute that information without actually evaluating
the factorial?

I have several TextBoxes with TextMode="MultiLine" in which I want to limit
the number of characters that can be entered using a
RegularExpressionValidator. I have come up with the following
ValidationExpression:
{0,250}
The only problem with this ValidationExpression is that it does not include
the \n character as stated on the following documentation page:

Hi,
Do you know a way to tell to the compiler that if
there are numbers of 1 digit ( 2, 6, 8,...), I want spaces like this:
" ".
But if I have numbers of 3 digits, I want spaces
like this: " ".
I don't know how to get the numbers of digits in
a number (integer or float).
Thanks.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
