i tried to add items to listview using addrange and it is very slow..
then tried using virtual listview which allows to add only text(it is
quite fast).. Now i just want to mix up this virtual listview + status
images to make my listview fast.. pls let me know if anybody have any
idea of status images??????

I'm trying to put icons in the header of my ListView. All the .net
posts I found refer to an example on thecodeproject which is no longer
there (part of commercial package now).
I converted the code I used in VB6 which all appears to run ok but
doesn't actually create the images ever. These are generic functions
to set the images for any listview.
Please help,

OK, I am stumped. I cannot for the life of me get images to show in
ListView items while the view is set to Details. I create an
ImageList, set the SmallImageList to point to the ImageList, then in my
code I do the following to add items to the ListView.
lvi = New ListViewItem

I have 2 different forms that contain treeviews and listviews. The former is
used to populate the latter.
For some reason the control randomly lose the images. So you cannot tell in
the listview which items have been selected.
I have recently tried assigning the images to the controls after initialize
component and it is a little more stable, but if you close the form and
immediately go back in the images are lost.

Hi. I'm having a problem with listview controls.
I'm using a control that adds drag and drop functionality to a listview (I
get the control from codeproject).
Now I'm having problems when dragging items that have images. I first
thougth that an item has its image and I could drag the complete object, but
I see that in the second listview the image doesn't appear. It appears again
if I move it again to the first listview.

I am trying to show many Images in a Listview controls with size(100,100).
But some of the images sizes are big, like width=238 and height 50. These
images does not appear proper in the listview control.
What do I need to do to see the Images same as I am looking using windows
explorer thumbnail.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
