Rational XDE, Building Code Templates

Hello All,

I wanted to know if anyone else has ran into this problem. I'm using
Rational XDE ver. 2003.06.00 I'm working with building my own
patterns and applying a code template. When I build the code template
and bind it to the class the script in side the code is not getting
replace for example.

if (mInstance == null)
{
mInstance = new <%=InputClass%> ();
}
return mInstance;

The funciton that this code template was bound replace the toke where
specified, like the return type was the actual input class; but not
for the code body.

Thanks for any info.

Hi all, I guess it is more of a maths question than a programming one, but it involves use of the decimal module, so here goes: As a self-directed learning exercise I've been working on a script to convert numbers to arbitrary bases. It aims to take any of whole numbers (python ints, longs, or Decimals), rational numbers (n / m n, m whole) and floating points (the best I can do for reals), and convert them to any base between 2 and...

A guy at work asked for functionality commonly found with rational numbers, so I said I'd find and install something. I figured gmpy would be suitable, alas I'm having trouble successfully building the underlying GMP 4.2.1 library on a PC running Solaris 10 (won't compile with the default --host, fails "make check" if I go the no-assembly route). Before I invest a bunch of time into this, am I barking up the wrong tree? Performance is,...

Hi, I am starting to use rationals and since I found no batteries included, I tried out the mxNumber package. However, I get strange warnings on comparison operations (which however seem to yield correct results): --- $ python

In this assignment we shall look at a possible representation of rational numbers in java using objects. The java language represents rational numbers using the same representation used for other real numbers. This is the floating-point representation. However as we may all know, floating-point numbers are quite inaccurate. This means that ½ might actually be represented as 0.49998, which may not be good enough for some applications. In this...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
