Dear all
has anyone tried installing Visual Studio .NET 2003 into system that already
has Visual Studio v6 installed. Will it cause any problem with the older
Visual studio, like pointing to the wrong header and lib file and etc? I
learn from the MSDN site that it suppose to be able to coexist but won't
dare to try...

I am using cvs as my version control tool, I came accross CVS SCC plugin for Microsoft Visual Studio name "Jalindi Igloo" I plan to develop a tool like this, but have no idea to start with. After surfing on the web sites i found Microsoft SCC API is used to develop such tools, any idea on how to get this API and start the devlopment of this tool, Also links to sample source codes will do.

Using Visual Studio .NET 2003 I've tried to add a COM reference
to a Windows Form project via the Add Reference dialog (specifically
the Active DS Type Library) but always get the error message:
"A reference to 'Active DS Type Library' could not be added. The
type library wrapper tool 'tlbimp' cannot be found on this system.
Please re-install Visual Studio."
This occurs regardless of the actual tlb or dll selected and happens

Hi fellows,
I am experiencing a problem while I try to update Visual Studio.NET 2003
on Windows Server 2003.
It tells me tha it is impossibile to connect to the update site. It
doesn't matter if I do it from the Visual Studio menu or from the
windows "add/remove applications" control panel applet.
I suspect it is due to the enhanced protection for Internet Explorer...

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
