Running A2k, O2k.
I've got two different processes that can run on one machine that use
Outlook automation.
I've code that all fine, the problem I've come across is that they want
one process to use one Outlook Account and the second one to use a
different Outlook Account (Different SMTP)
Is there a way I can set this up through Automation?

Hi.
I'm working at Arizona State University on a project that is
developing software for individuals who are blind and I need to be
able to setup an App that we are creating to run with Administrator
priveledges while in the Limited user account on WinXP.
We have tried the code provided on this Code Project article.

Hi,
I have an issue I have not found a way to get around. First of all, I use
Windows XP Professional. I have a user account for administrative & security
purposes (install software, share things, etc.) and then a regular/limited
user account which is the one I use for my every day tasks such as software
development and web browsing.
Obviously if I give administrator rights to my account I open myself to a
myriad of bad things out there...

Quick user question. I changed an XP Pro user account from Administrator to
Limited, and then found I cannot not sign in to .NET 1.1 (via MSN Messenger
6.1 or via Money 2003, for example) from that account. I get an
incorrect-password error no matter what (correct) user/password combination
I provide. But I can sign in via other XP accounts (both Administrator and
Limited). And when I change the account in question back to Administrator...

I have a VB6 program which only runs successfully when run from a user
account with UK regional settings. We will soon be forced to run this
program from a service account with Swiss French regional settings and
we do not have time at the moment to port this application to .net.
One possible solution we thought of was to create a c# program in which
we change the culture to en-GB and then call the VB6 program.
Unfortunately, when we call...

Anyone gots a limited account? I do. And its not good. It keeps you from doing lots of things!!!! And heres and example:I got a computer game from my aunt for Christmas, it was expensive too. When i go home and try to install it, it says,"Sorry, you do not have permission to install this program. Please relogin as an admistrator." I hate things that go like that.
So my question is, how you get into the administrator without typing in the...

I am self hosting a Web Service in a Windows service. I am trying to start
the service using the NT AUTHORITY\NetworkService account.
I get a NullReferenceException on ServiceHost.Open() in the
ServiceBase.OnStart() method. SCM throws a 1067 error as well.
I get the same problem with NT AUTHORITY\LocalService.
When I use the LocalSystem account, my domain account, or another regular
user account, the windows service starts just fine.

In Windows XP Pro, in addition to an administrator account, I also have a limited account for going online. (Yes, I also take virtually all of the other recommended precautions against malware.)
I want my administrator and limited accounts to be able to share all my documents (as well as my favorites and Desktop items), with the limited account to have the same privileges as my administrator account to create, read, write, edit, save, and...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
