Is there a known bug with the interaction between the HttpWebRequest and the
ThreadPool? I current spawn several HttpWebRequest's using
BeginGetResponse, and they work for a while, using worker threads from the
ThreadPool. However, eventually (relatively quickly) there become fewer and
fewer available worker threads in the pool, until there are 0 and a
System.InvalidOperationException occurs with the message: "There were not
enough free...

remote server to cache them remotely...
can i use the HttpWebRequest and WebResponse classes for this? or must i use
the MSHTML objects to really load the HTML and request all of the images on
site?

Greetings
I have trouble catching the actual HTML Source code of a
HttpWebRequest when the result of a successful login is a Frameset (I
cant seem to get hold of the Frameset page Source code).
The request is an automated basic login post (HttpWebRequest.Method =
"POST" with username and password) which successfully catches Cookies
etc. But the sources code I get is the NOFRAMES part of the frameset
page:

Hi,
I am having problems setting the HttpWebRequest Date header. I understand
that it is a restricted header and I do receive the
"This header must be modified with the appropriate property." Is there a
way to make sure that the date header is sent over or a way to work around
this exception?
Here's a sample of the code:

Hi All!
I'm sending a web request (using HttpWebRequest class) to
the page which contains frameset. I have such a response:
Your browser cannot display frames (i'm using IE 6.0).
What can i do to get a proper response from that site?
Maybe i have to set userAgent property of HttpWebRequest
class?
Thanks for any help!

I presume that the HttpWebRequest sends some form of browser capabilities
information to web servers referred to in the URI. Is there any way to
control what is sent so that the responding page is formatted in a
particular fashio (depending upon the web server, of course)?
For example, I'd like to request a page from a server & indicate that the
"browser" supports frames, then make the same request indicating that the
"browser" does not...

I have a problem with a httpwebrequest that I am creating. The request in itself looks correct but using fiddler I see that a www-authentication header is sent along as well. The code is pasted below. I do not add any www-authentication header here so I was wondering if anyone knows how to remove it.
I have used almost 2 days trying to figure this out so help would be highly appreciated.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
