Not in the same project, but you can in the same solution. Similarly, you
can compile a .dll in either language and add a reference in the other
project...it gives you the same effect.

Here's the most concise description I can give you of my problem... I'm trying to create a narrow form in Visual Basic.NET 2003. The form is about 95 pixels wide by 325 long. I resized it to these dimensions in the development environment. I've set the FormBorderStyle property to FixedSingle. I've set controlbox, minimizebox, and maximizebox to false because I don't want the form size to be tampered with, and because I want to make...

Hi everybody I'm new in visual studio .net, and I have developed a group of methods in C-Sharp (visual studio .Net 2003) that I need to share with another that has developed an application in Visual Basic 6.0. We first attempted to call the DLL file, but without success. I don´t know if exist some incompatibility between Visual Studio versions or if does exists some trick to enable the use of the DLL in that application. I appreciate...

I am trying to create a DLL in Visual Studio 2005-Visual Basic that contains custom functions. I believe I need to use COM interop to allow VBA code in Excel 2002 to access it. I've studied everything I can find on COM Interop and .NET. I've also tried many of the 'Walkthroughs' on the MSDN site relating to COM add-ins, .NET and Office XP but am unable to get even these working in Excel 2002 or Word 2002. I've installed the Office XP...

I've been all over the net with this question, I hope I've finally found a group where I can ask about Visual Basic 2005. I'm at uni and we're working with Visual Basic 2005. I have some books, - Programming Visual Basic by Balena (MS Press) and - Visual Basic 2005 by Willis (WROX), but they don't go into the forms design aspects and describing the various controls at all. What bookscan I get that will cover that?

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
