Hello,
i'm currently writing a debugger for python and found that some
modules store an absolute file path in "co_filename" of there
methods/functions and some store a relative file path. Because the
relative file path can never be expanded to an absolute file path
later (the sys.path may have changed) it is impossible to find the
source code location.
Is there anything i have missed or is this simply a bug. I would

I wrote my own directory browser in order to get around a bug where
tkFileDialog.askdirectory() can't handle non-ascii paths. However, I
have a problem where I call os.listdir() on a mapped network drive,
e.g. os.listdir("Z:\\"), and if the network drive is unavailable, the
UI hangs until the OS returns with an exception because the network
shared drive is unavailable.
I would like to work around this by simply not looking into ...

I am trying to remote debug a C# application but the debugger is reporting
the following exception:
An unhandled exception of type 'System.IO.FileLoadException' occurred in
Unknown Module.
Additional information: Unverifiable assembly 'FrameGrabber' failed policy
check.
The FrameGrabber assembly is a C++ managed DLL.

We have an application that is running under Citrix. The application
files are located on a shared network drive and the app is launched via
UNC. The app contains WinForms that are called from Excel and provide
database connectivity.
Every so often, we're getting an error "External component has thrown
an error" when they try to instantiate a form. I do not have the
InnerException in the MessageBox prompts, but in another unhandled...

Despite everything I've tried, I cannot get MySQL to start as a Windows
service. However, I AM able to get it started via the mysqld-nt --console
command.

Can a vb program running as a serice not use network paths to do file/io?
I can't seem to get my program to work with network paths and files. When I
use local disk it works fine. When I run it as a none service program it
works fine. I'm assuming that vb programs running as a service do not
support network paths. Is that true?

numbers). During the hang, a little popup appears in the toolbar saying that
