I need to find a way of embedding an ole object into a database field, so it
can be retrieved by a Crystal report and displayed as a picture.
Embedding the bitmap file as a long binary or a blob is easy, but this can
not be interpreted as an ole object and hence not displayed on the report.
Any suggestion would be very welcome.

I have a table that contains a bunch of pictures. When the user selects a
particular image in a form, I need a way to extract the selected bitmap
image (stored in an OLE Object table field) to the file system so the user
can do stuff with "somePicture.bmp", for example.
Is there an easy way to do this?

I have a report with an OLE bound frame.
A bitmap has been pasted into the bound field.
The bitmap displays and prints differently on different computers. In
particular, the alignment is different. Both computers are using the same
printer.
What can I do to work out why the bitmap rendering is different on different
computers?

Does anyone know how to embed a file into a resource in C#? You
seem to be able to embed Icon, Bitmap, Cursor's & Strings. But how do you
embed a file???
In VC++ version 6 you would, Find the Resource, Load It, get its size, and
then write it out to where ever you want it.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
