windows aio error

Please help with the following issue.

I am trying to dump a table. My mysqldump command is:
mysqldump.exe -u xx -P xx --add-drop-table --quick --extended-insert
--result-file=xx "--where=cdrdate > CURDATE() - INTERVAL 1 MONTH" mydb
calldetailrecords

It consistenly crashes the database with the error (as seen in the
error log):

040909 8:16:17 InnoDB: Operating system error number 995 in a file
operation.
InnoDB: See section 13.2 at http://www.innodb.com/ibman.php
InnoDB: about operating system error numbers.
InnoDB: File name d:\mysql-4.1.4\data\ibdata1
InnoDB: File operation call: 'Windows aio'.
InnoDB: Cannot continue operation.

This first occured with mysql 4.0.16 on WinXP. I upgraded to 4.1.4
thinking it would solve the problem (see
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/In...ews-4.1.4.html where it
discusses the previous problems with IO and Innodb). The upgrade
didn't help - the same exact error and crashing occurs.

I tried to dump a different table and still received the same error.

Please email me at da****@kayote.com.
Thanks.

Daniel,

you should write to my***@lists.mysql.com. These newsgroups are mostly just
mirrors of mailing lists.

A few InnoDB users have reported OS error 995 in Windows in the past 18
months. The error number does not make sense, it says that an AIO operation
was cancelled by the application.

I suspect these are bugs in the OS/drivers, or a symptom of a hardware
fault. If these reports become more frequent, then we may need to file a bug
report to Microsoft. Googling the newsgroups, I find that at least one
Windows user has bumped in error 995 without using InnoDB.

Best regards,
