How do I know what the row number is?

142 New Member
Hi

I am using PHPmyAdmin

If I create a table and the rows x,y,z.. How do I know what row number x,y and z is?

I have a update script but it work with the rows? So I need to know the rows numbers.

Or otherwise how can I get it?

Thanks

Does anyone know a clean method of preventing scrolling altogether in a TEXTAREA (i.e. ensuring the user CANNOT type more text than fits inside the box area)? I'd like to know how, if so... It seems there should be a way to do it, but I don't know of any, except via an awful javascript kludge. Note: I am using a TEXTAREA with a proportional font and a size set in pixels/ems via inline STYLE attribute.

A user inputs a float value. The scanf() function gets the value. However, I need to create an error handler with an if else statement saying invalid input if the input is not a number. Does anybody know how I could do this?

ok This is my main. Pretty much it goes through each category and starts up 4 worker threads that then ask for groups to gether from. My problem is that when the thread gets done it keeps the mysql connections open so I end up with quite a few at the end. Is there a different way that I should do this? class Program { static string categories = { "emulation" , "audio" , "console" , "anime" , "xxx" , "tv" , "pictures" , "video" };

all in vb2005 I have three arrays: one 2d array, two 1d arrays. I need to output them into a listbox and align them to columns, which I know how to do using string.format(blahblahblah). However, in this case the user is defining the necessary number of columns. Specifically, I have vb project that effectively gathers the scoring information for a soccer team and outputs it to a listbox. The gamedate array would be the first row, and the...

I have a gridview and I need to know the number of rows in it. I find the Page_load and the Gridview_Load events are too early to find out the number of rows. I can use the Gridview_databound event to check for the number of rows. But the problem is that the user can update a field on my form, which reduces the number of rows in the gridview, because the gridview SELECT statement no longer finds the records when their flag has been set...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
