Do NOT double post threads.

I have removed the other thread that you posted that was exactly the same as this one. Double posting will NOT get you answers any quicker! Infact it will probably have the opposite affect!

Hi I'm trying to debug the sample application in ASP.NET (CommereVBSDK) but the .NET environment is not allowing me to debug. I get the following error Error while trying to run project. Unable to start debugging on the web server. The project is not configured to be debugged. The solution says to set 'debug=true' in the web.config file and it already has that setting. I do the development on the webserver (code , and development all...

I'm looking for a way to deny a move from the current listbox item. For instance, if the user is editing the record associated with the current listbox item I want to deny a move within the listbox until they have saved the changes. Is there any way to deny a move from the current item so the SelectedIndexChanged event never fires no matter move the movement was attempted? Whether the user uses the cursor keys or mouse to try and leave...

Can't figure this one out. I appears to not be code related. After surfing my asp.net web app for a while 5 - 10 min. it fails to open any further connections to my access 2000 database. There seems to be no set drop off point either that would point to a specific code problem. I went through and made sure that I explicitly closed all my connections when done and even called the dispose method after each one. I noticed that asp.net...

I wish to create a program (really a Windows Service) that sits and waits for a client PC to communicate with it, but I can't come up with a good method of doing so. I want to have a service running on a server, waiting for clients to send it commands. The service would then do something based on the command and send the information back to the client. This is exactly what any database does. What is the best method for doing this? The...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
