But problem is that when a new message comes it do not shows it automatically. Because mobile phone do not sends any notification message to program.

For example, when a phon call comes, then mobile-phone sends a "RING" notification to my program. But when new SMS comes. It do not sends any notification to my program.
So how can i display any new SMS immediatly whenever received.....

Hi all, about 2 years ago I wrote a small utility that was used to send and receive SMS messages via a mobile phone (3rd party COM object as used as interface). I now have to write another program that does pretty much the same thing. My old program simply sent and received SMS messages via a Nokia phone connected to the computer running the utility. I now have to write the same type program and instead of using a cellphone connected...

I've got an odd problem here that I've been beating my head on for days. I've written a class that uses a pre-established connection for communication, meaning I can use this class for a server or a client. After receiving a Socket that has been connected to a RemoteEP, it begins 2 threads by calling out Begin(). My Send Thread pauses until the class Parent wants to send data. Receive Thread keeps checking for incoming data. My...

Hi all, I am currently working on a small application that sends messages from a client to a server and receives messages in return. Basically the functionality is made with sockets which is working just fine except of one little thing. whenever the client tries to receive a message the server has sent it goes into a hang. unfortunately without an error or exception at all. the communication itself (sending message from client to...

Hi all, I'm new to developing applications using networking protocols and need to figure out how to send/receive data between a server and 8 different devices. I don't have much code as I am still in the planning stages, but I'm confused about the best way to send / receive data. On program startup I plan on sending a broadcast ping and then listening for the 8 device's responses. What is the best way to receive the data? I've done some...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
