Hello,
First time using ClickOnce with Mobile 5.0. This is probably a stupid question, but I am just drawing a total blank here.
Using my mobile device, when I navigate to the url (i.e., http://www.foo.com/myapp.applicati on) , Internet Explorer asks if I want to download the "myapp.applicat ion" file. If I do, nothing happens. I've tried going to the directory it downloaded to and opening it manually, but it doesn't recognize the file extension ".applicati on"
Testing the url on my regular workstation works great, everything installs fine (of course the app crashes when I open it since it is a compact framework app).
What am I doing wrong here?

How to apply a numeric format to a textbox using xhtml? I know you have to

asp.net 1.1
The following code has allowCustomAttributes set and works fine for labels,
but not for textboxes. This is because it is building span tags around the
control. I need to embed the class tag inside the...

I've been playing around with ClickOnce today, and it's all good stuff.
Except, that if I change my application to NOT be full trust (which seems to
make very little difference to the user prompt, which scares me!) but to be
installed on the start menu, it seems I don't have permission to call
CheckForUpdate()!
I understand that if I'm not a full trust app, I can't read the filesystem
etc., but not being able to update myself seems a bit...

While ASP.Net is migrating toward more robust presentation by using things
like AJAX I am wondering if ClickOnce will errode a lot of ASP.Net presence
in Corporate Applications. I've been reading a lot about ClickOnce and it
seems compelling particularily since Vista will have the .Net framework
included along with the other requirements for ClickOnce deployment.
Is there some downside to ClickOnce deployment that I'm now aware of?

Hi
I have a rather advanced deployment scenario and wanted to know, if anyone
has an idea how to accomplish that with ClickOnce:
We are deploying a 3-tier application with a client connecting to web
services, which then connect to a database. The tiers are all on different
nodes and we have around 1000 client users. We currently deploy the web
services with Wise and adjust the database (cluster) manually. The clients
should be...

Hi,
We have developed a VSTO 2005 Excel application and we would like to
leverage ClickOnce deployment mechanism for distribution of this
application.
How can we do that? I was digging in MSDN for VSTO & ClickOnce documentation
and did not find anything. I've noticed that there is an option to
publish the project, but when I do that and then run the application from
Web it throws us security errors like:

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention.
