Having linux as server os and windows as its client?

Hi all
m new to linux.How to manage a scenario with linux as server os and windows as its clients??
can any one help me regarding this???
Whether in linux,we can have a domain environment like in windows???Linux server as domain controller and windows desktops as clients????
any help...................

Hi there,

There is a built in deamon in Linux called the Samba SMB server, which will enable linux & windows clients to exchange details, kindly refer to below attached link for further reading & understanding, good luck & take care my fren.. :)
