How to get the num of days absent using c# when start date and end date
are the date format is like this 12/24/12

No idea, since this group is not about C#, but about Javascript.

You should realize that the date format is ambiguous (even if that
date isn't).

What day is 02/04/03? 2nd of April 2003, 3rd of April 2002, or 4th of
February 2003? All are reasonable interpretations. How it is
interpreted depends on what country the reader is from.

The only possible solution that exists uses C#.

Nothing else manages absent days.
