Yellow Box

P: 1
Hi - I've been looking around with no avail. I'm a rookie coder and I'm trying to achive the following:

When someone visits the site for the first time, an info box on the top of the site fades from yellow to white. The info box also has a "X" on the top right corner, in case the visitor wanted to close that box (it just fades out).

Can someone here help me coding this script out?

I came across this site: http://www.yourtotalsite.com/archives/javascript/yellowfade_technique_for/Default.aspx but it only fades when an event happens (user clicks button)

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to TSDN!

You can use the onload event handler.
