Dynamic TD creation

Hi,

I created the table row and table data(td) dynamically in javascript.
But i do not know how to delete that row dynamically in javascript.
If anybody have that code, plz send me..

You used

tableNode.insertRow(rownum)

for inserting a row at position rownum in your table?

Use

tableNode.deleteRow(rownum)

to delete the row at position rownum in your table.

If your not sure what the rownum is you'll need to loop through all the rows of the table until you find the row you want then get its row number.

Assign your TD an id when you create it:

var theTD = document.createElement('td');
theTD.id = 'myTD';
 
.
.
.
 
// And then to remove it:
var theTD = document.getElementById('myTD');
theTD.parentNode.removeChild(theTD);
 

Note that if you remove the TD in the same scope in which you create it, theTD will still be defined, so you won't have to use document.getElementById.

Ok fine. Now it is working. Now I need code to delete <td>. And I need the code to count number of rows and number of TD's in a table.
