Page Reload in Div

Hi everyone

Pls i have created a div to load a page but i want it to work in such a way that if a page or link was clicked on the page, the mother page holding the wont reload but the external page in the div will only reload.

Also if the mother page was refreshed is there a way i can make it work that it will keep the opened div, so that i dont have to reload the div

im not sure if my code will work with in a div!
i have no time to test it now !

but you can refresh the contents of a iframe,
without reloading the parent from the iframe
with:

//SmallEntry is the name/id of the iframe in the parent
//and this code should be in the iframe
function refreshiframe(){
parent.SmallEntry.location.reload();
}
 

to refresh a iframe from the parent use

function refreshiframe(){
SmallEntry.location.reload();
}
 

same code but without the parent bit,
it´s worth a try,
and mother as you said it, is the parent window :)

and as far as im aware of,
reloading the parent window automaticly reloads frames.
