Hi,
let's say a page loads on a browser. Without refreshing the page,
multiple textboxes within the page gets real time data @ a few
seconds
interval.
what is the logic behind to achieve this?

Thanks Jim.
I understand that setInterval() is required. But where should I put
this function?
I really don't understand your questions, although it does sound like
Ajax will do what you want.
If you want to learn how to use Ajax, how to make an HTML request to your
server, and how to replace text on your webpage, you can learn from web
resources such as
http://www.jibbering.com/2002/4/httprequest.html
or a good book from your local bookstore.
When you have your Ajax all set up and running, and just want to know
where to call setInterval(), post a small portion of your javascript.
