Cross-Domain Interactor (CDI) StarGates 0.9 is released

I believe that the post "JSON - Cross domain request"
<http://groups.google.com/group/comp.lang.javascript/browse_frm/thread/06ba7973660bf018>
was the 100th in this newsgroup asking about cross-domain interaction
using ajaxoids.

In commemoration of this historic event :-) I've downgraded one of my
Perl spiders and adjusted it for pieceful purposes :-): namely to use
it in conjuction with any ajaxoid for cross-domain interaction.

The program is completely mine, free, under GNU license.

Currently only GET requests are supported, also there is no "side use"
protection - but anyone is welcome to add it.

I'm just checking right now is it will be found useful.

The source and instructions are here:

Oops, hugely sorry: whoever downloaded files up to this moment
(Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at 12:32:10 AM PDT):
please do it again or edit source manually if you speak Perl. Due to my
mistake some error handling branches appeared to be commented (#). You
need to uncomment them or get the corrected copy from the same place:

Hmm... I guess it doesn't sound good in my respect :-)

A clarification: "one of my Perl spiders I once made for a customer but
where I retained all my intellectual property rights". The original
spider was made to sniff for newly made English words on news servers -
nothing spam-targeted.
