Problem with installing Java

3 New Member
I'm having problems installing java. This is my problem:

When i install the java, it finishes downloading the files but then it says there's already java on my computer. A box comes up to ask if i'm going to reinstall the java. When i click yes it says "the product is not on this computer". Java isn't installed on my computer, i searched all of my computer and didn't find anything about java except the installation application.

Can anyone help me on this please?

Some pictures of whats wrong:

What happens when you deinstall and throw away everything that even smells like Java before you install a new version?

kind regards,

Would be interesting to know how did the unsuccessful search for Java on your machine.
Did you try the Add/Remove programs option from the control panel?

NOTE: The program of the things i installed are in alphabetical order.
I'll show you what it says:

Did you try restarting Windows after the uninstall? It probably still has entries in some registry for it.
Perhaps there were many versions installed in other locations as well.
