java collections

Hi,
I have collection of years which i have got from my database

the collection contains years like

example:

2008
2006
2005
2004
2001
2000

the years will be in desc order.

i need to write a java code to iterate the collection of years with each year
which i declare locally and return a boolean.

Are you using the Collections framework? If so, read the API documentation:
there are lots of methods available that can do (part of) the job.
