Testing related issue

1 New Member
Hi,
We are testing a web application developed in Java. There is a web page with a link which takes us to a popup window. In that window, we will be checking a checkbox and there will be only one Close button, which will close that window. Then again we are back to the same old web page with the same link.

If we click the same link, the checkbox is unchecked without retaining the value. But this scenario is working fine in developer's environment (local) and onshore environment (local).
Testers are accessing the application through VPN. What might be the issue?
Please guide.

Greetings, SubhaSundar!

Are you using JavaScript to close that window? Using VPN, the user may not have JavaScript enabled from the machine being used, although I cannot be too sure without seeing your code.

I would say use jsp to redirect to page of preference...

Can you tell us a little more on this?

Perhaps post your code!
